The interior design project in Turin, Italy, was conceived for an archi-enthusiast that wanted to refurbish it and rent it out. Carlo Ratti Associati designed the flat around one core ambient, with low-rise partitions in order to maximize the visibility and surfaces.
The flat only uses two materials: plaster and low-cost industrial hardwood. The floor bends and becomes a bed, staircase, kitchen. The plastered wall plies and becomes a shelf, overhang, closet.
