A pedestrian’s footprints remain visible for about a minute after crossing the interactive lightfloor. The weight of someone walking across the floor displaces some or most of the fluid, leaving light prints wherever the foot touches the surface.
The LightFader interactive floor consists of a modular system of tiles. These tiles measures 1000 x 1000 x 75 mm, easily connected by a link cable, and are made of a strong and scratch-resistant material that can hold up to 250 kg per square meter.
